Software Engineer Internship (SRE)

TL;DR

Software Engineer Internship (SRE): Developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines with an accent on automation across different projects and troubleshooting production issues. Focus on collaborating with high-performance teams to design and implement robust SRE solutions.

Location: This position will work hybrid scheduled based out of our Leawood, KS office from May-August 2026. Applicants for U.S. based positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Develop and support enhancements to containerized applications and automated pipelines.
• Collaborate with a high-performance team to design and implement automation across several different projects.
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting to support production issues.
• Actively participate in all relevant agile ceremonies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree in a computer related field.
• Exposure to the concepts of an Agile based development methodology.
• Some experience with Linux systems, Kubernetes, Python, and Git.
• Demonstrated organizational and teamwork skills with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to translate business scenarios into automated technical solutions.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Pulumi, Kafka, Postgres, and DataDog.
