Salary: $122,500 - $170,000 per year

What you will do

• Invent tools and processes for fast, accurate, and user-friendly development and deployment systems
• Provide comprehensive software validation including virtualized, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-orbit test platforms
• Monitor and analyze data to support continuous integration and release systems
• Integrate and troubleshoot across the entire Starlink software stack
• Create and manage core infrastructure such as databases and software libraries
• Identify improvement areas and develop innovative solutions to enhance developer velocity

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States per ITAR regulations (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, math, or STEM discipline with 1+ years experience or 3+ years professional software development experience
• Development experience in Python, Go, or C++
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment

Nice to have

• Experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or systems administration
• Deep understanding of testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and monitoring
• Familiarity with Bazel, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, ArgoCD
• Skills in debugging, performance optimization, and unit testing
• Experience managing large scale systems and deploying real-world software
