Salary: $160,000–$240,000 plus pre-IPO equity

• Design and shape the future of sports entertainment through cutting-edge data platform solutions.
• Deliver best-in-class features and ensure data platform reliability at scale.

• Champion and implement development best practices for a high-quality codebase.
• Partner with data scientists and engineering leads to define features and drive the development process.
• Research and iteratively implement emerging technologies into hirify.global’s data platform systems.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience building microservices heavy backend systems in a cloud environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Advanced proficiency with C++.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Experience with real-time data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis.
• Experience with DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go or Rust.
• Strong interest in sports or prior experience in the finance industry.
• Experience with pipeline optimization.
