Customer Success Engineer (AI): Building and integrating AI-powered applications, particularly LLM infrastructure and chatbots, to empower researchers and public-health partners with an accent on translating researcher needs into technical solutions and ensuring regulatory compliance. Location: Must be regularly present in our Berlin or Potsdam office. Mobile work and the option to work abroad remotely up to 2 months per year are possible.

What you will do
- Build further features for LLM infrastructure on the AIR·MS platform, including the Open WebUI-based chatbot.
- Align closely with program leadership to enable researchers and clinicians to effectively use open-source LLMs.
- Help integrate in-house fine-tuned, medical-data-aware LLMs and agentic APIs to streamline research.
- Maintain the software stack up-to-date and ensure timely delivery of extensions for regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience working closely with researchers and translating their needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, product, and research teams.
- Demonstrate high ownership, curiosity, and readiness to experiment with evolving AI technologies.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and reliability when operating within the regulated health tech environment.
- Regular presence required in Berlin or Potsdam office.
