TL;DR

Focus on developing data architecture roadmaps, data modeling standards, and embedding regulatory compliance such as HIPAA, FHIR, and HL7.

Location: Fully remote within the United States with about 5% travel

Salary: $155,000–$175,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop compliance-first data architecture roadmaps aligned with regulatory and governance standards.
• Drive data modeling standards and review critical designs for scalable, well-governed data structures.
• Embed security and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, FHIR, HL7) into platform design.
• Mentor engineers on data modeling, optimization, schema design, and best practices for high-volume data systems.

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or platform architecture.
• Strong expertise with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift), Airflow, and dbt.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally across geographies and time zones.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and security principles in healthcare data platforms.
