What you will do

• Identify and mitigate risks to customer data, building tools for data storage and access monitoring.
• Coordinate with internal teams to safeguard customer assets and build features for customer security control.
• Propose, champion, and engineer new security features, integrating directly into other teams’ codebases.
• Improve internal tools security by assessing maturity, building guardrails, auditing, and alerting mechanisms.
• Develop scalable detection rules and response processes for misuse of access and process errors.
• Collaborate with peer teams on account safety, platform integrity, and application security initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in a security-related role.
• Proficiency in coding, with experience in Go, Python, React, and Typescript.
• Experience in designing and developing performant, reliable systems for automated scanning or third-party API integration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation, security advocacy, and project management.

Nice to have

• Experience in data science, engineering, or stewardship.
• Experience in Cloud or Application Security (scanning, testing, code review, architecture).
• Experience in Privacy engineering, threat detection, or incident response.
