What you will do

• Work with engineering, IT, and infrastructure teams to secure hirify.global’s global network and enterprise systems.
• Deploy and manage security tools addressing risks at a global scale.
• Collaborate with Compliance to ensure adherence to security standards.
• Protect infrastructure from a wide range of attacks, from low-level to nation-state threats.
• Lead proof of concepts for new security tooling and continuous improvement of security posture.
• Build strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive security initiatives.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid with 1 day in-office per week in Austin, TX
• English: B2 level or higher required
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong knowledge of Linux, MacOS, Windows security practices.
• Experience with public cloud security (GCP, Azure) and cloud security posture management tools.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Terraform, Ansible, and programming in Golang, Bash.

Nice to have

• Strong Linux system experience from user-space to kernel-space.
• Experience securing Google Workspace and software supply chain security.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP and secure design.
• Experience with governance programs like PCI-DSS, FedRAMP.
• Knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and SIEM technologies.
• Background in system administration.
