TL;DR

Location: Remote (within UK or Europe preferred due to company location in London)

What you will do

  • Define and evolve the long-term vision for the design system, establishing clear standards and governance.
  • Lead and mentor designers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative culture.
  • Contribute directly to the evolution of components, tokens, templates, and documentation.
  • Lead initiatives to improve Designer Experience, streamline workflows, and track meaningful metrics.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and alignment sessions with engineering, product, and commercial teams.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading design systems in complex or multi-brand environments.
  • Expertise in Figma, including tokens, theming, libraries, and version control.
  • Familiarity with documentation tools like Storybook and Zeroheight.
  • Ability to design and scale operational foundations for adoption, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Skilled at articulating the value of design systems and influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding teams with strong systems thinking capabilities.
