Senior Technical Writer

TL;DR

Senior Technical Writer (Content Creation): Creating and modernizing persona-based product documentation for enterprise software with an accent on structured content, information architecture, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on auditing and refreshing documentation, producing clear guides, and aligning with product management and engineering teams.

Location: Hybrid role based in Tutzing, Germany or offices in the Netherlands with remote work possible within these countries

What you will do

• Create clear, persona-based guides, concepts, and reference documentation for complex products.
• Audit, restructure, and refresh existing documentation to align with product lines and terminology.
• Work iteratively to enrich content as product features mature.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Customer Education, and Sales teams.
• Incorporate feedback from field teams and users to improve documentation clarity and completeness.
• Contribute to glossary, terminology, and style guidelines for consistency in German and English.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Germany or the Netherlands or able to work remotely within these countries
• Experience documenting enterprise software such as ERP, SaaS, middleware, or integrations.
• Proven ability in structured, persona-based documentation for complex products.
• Strong information architecture skills including auditing and standardizing large documentation sets.
• Excellent German (native or near-native) and strong English language skills.
• Proactive mindset with strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills.
