What you will do

• Configure, manage, and harden Linux systems following best security practices.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents promptly.
• Maintain and optimize IT and network security systems including backups.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure system implementation.
• Provide Level 2/3 support for security-related IT issues.

Requirements

• Must work onsite in Krakow, Basel, or Belgrade.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in IT security.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 security practices.
• Understanding of access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Good communication skills and proactive, independent work style.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Fundamentals or CompTIA Security+.
