Location: Remote Germany

Salary: €68,000–€91,000

What you will do

  • Identify and respond to security incidents globally, acting as incident commander.
  • Design and maintain security alerts, automated actions, playbooks, and escalation workflows.
  • Conduct threat hunting and develop forward-thinking strategies against sophisticated threats.
  • Research threat intelligence and manage related workflows.
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve incident response lifecycle and communication.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for 24/7 incident response.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of experience managing security incidents or working in SOC, PSIRT, or CSIRT.
  • Expertise with SIEM systems (Splunk preferred), endpoint detection and investigation, and SOAR platforms.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience with software development or engineering operations for consumer products.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, Azure, or Heroku.
  • Location: Must be based in Germany for remote work.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of multiple EDR and SOAR tools.
  • Experience with automated incident response workflows.
