What you will do

• Develop and improve offline and online recommendation systems using classical ML and deep learning.
• Build and optimize ranking and retrieval models to surface relevant content.
• Design personalized discovery systems including context-aware feeds and donation menu recommendations.
• Deploy ML solutions into production ensuring performance, scalability, and observability.
• Set up monitoring, retraining, and data pipelines for deployed models.
• Collaborate with analytics team to design and interpret A/B tests measuring model impact.

Requirements

• Must be able to relocate to Cyprus with full visa support.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in Data Science / Machine Learning.
• 1+ year experience building recommendation systems in production.
• Proficiency in Python and production-quality ML model deployment.
• Strong understanding of ML algorithms, ranking pipelines, and personalization architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience with video and image content ML (visual embeddings, multimodal models).
• Experience with large-scale distributed training and data-intensive ML pipelines.
