What you will do

• Architect scalable, reliable, and high-performance AI applications and ML/DL algorithms.
• Lead the AI tribe to deliver state-of-the-art AI models in production.
• Mentor data scientists to foster technical and soft skill growth.
• Apply emerging AI technologies to enhance capabilities and disrupt the industry.
• Define company-wide AI technical and product roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Demonstrate autonomy and ownership from ideation to operationalization and maintenance of complex projects.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Athens, Greece
• 8+ years of experience building ML/DL models with Python.
• PhD-level expertise in domains like Recommendation Systems, NLP, Computer Vision, Speech and Audio, Time-series, Reinforcement Learning, or Graph Learning.
• Deep understanding of ML lifecycle and MLOps for production applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for diverse audiences.

Nice to have

• Expertise in genAI or agentic AI including prompt design and evaluation.
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, and NoSQL databases.
