What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and code reviews.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve platform reliability including mitigation strategies and operational playbooks.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for incident detection and response.
• Participate in Root Cause Analyses and on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
• Ensure scalability and efficiency of cloud infrastructure and conduct performance testing.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and collaborate with product teams to design observable software.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Hyderabad, India
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proficient in PHP development and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
• Experience with public cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python) and experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana).

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Relevant cloud and DevOps certifications.
• Database management and performance tuning experience, especially MSSQL.
