Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site in San Francisco, Austin, Texas, or New York City; willingness to travel 25–50% required

What you will do

• Own the technical customer lifecycle from deployment through activation and ongoing success with Devin.
• Work with engineering customers to understand technical challenges and identify high-impact use cases.
• Lead demos and pilots, support integrations, and drive adoption across engineering teams.
• Build relationships with customer engineers, activate key users, and increase product utilization.
• Implement customer-requested features and advocate for customer needs in product decisions.
• Use customer insights and product judgment to help shape the roadmap.

Requirements

• Strong engineering foundation from a rigorous technical environment.
• Demonstrated exceptional performance in academic, athletic, professional, or entrepreneurial pursuits.
• Self-directed approach with strong prioritization and ownership of results.
• Strong communication skills with senior engineers and executives.
• High tolerance for ambiguity, intensity, and sustained effort.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel 25–50%.

Nice to have

• Advanced knowledge of at least one modern programming language, such as Python or TypeScript.
• Experience writing and debugging real software systems.
• Experience working directly with users on high-impact technical problems.
• Early-stage startup experience or a track record of operating beyond a defined job description.
