What you will do

• Develop backend services and utilities in Go for payments and ledger systems
• Collaborate with product and stakeholders to solve financial services challenges
• Design and implement secure, scalable payment processing supporting multiple payment rails
• Maintain a double-entry ledger system reflecting financial transactions
• Build integrations with third-party payment processors and vendors
• Mentor engineers and advocate development best practices

Requirements

• Must be located and authorized to work in the US or Canada
• 4-6+ years professional software engineering experience
• Experience with Go or similar structured language
• Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud providers (preferably Google Cloud)
• Experience designing and using RESTful APIs

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, GitLab APIs, Google Cloud APIs
• Experience in early-stage fast-moving engineering teams
• Familiarity with payment rails and financial systems
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 or financial messaging standards
