What you will do

• Architect and own the core integrations platform and services balancing velocity and maintainability.
• Understand customer workflows and business impact to ground technical decisions.
• Improve development lifecycle with automation and data-driven delivery performance.
• Mentor and elevate engineering team standards through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Lead adoption and evangelize AI-powered development tools within the team.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience building complex backend systems with deep Node.js expertise.
• Proven experience in integrations domain including webhooks, polling, message queues, and scalable multi-tenant platforms.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, message queues (RabbitMQ, SNS/SQS), relational databases (PostgreSQL), and cloud services (AWS).
• Demonstrated high-impact technical decision-making and pragmatic engineering approach.
• Commitment to quality including testing, observability, and operational excellence.
• Mastery of AI-powered development tools and passion for coaching others.
• Must reside and have legal right to work in specified European countries.

• Experience building developer-facing APIs or SDKs.
