What you will do

• Apply iOS engineering knowledge to solve user experience problems and advocate for engineering value in the design lifecycle.
• Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, and product managers to develop solutions for new and improved user experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code utilizing software design principles, data structures, and computer science fundamentals.
• Build new technical expertise in a rapidly evolving environment and help mentor other engineers on the team.
• Coordinate stakeholder input and collaboration efforts while proactively providing clear updates on work status.
• Develop prototypes to influence product strategy and advise on technical possibilities and limitations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years, or Master's degree with 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks like SwiftUI or UIKit.
• Experience maintaining multiple software projects in production, including bug fixing, troubleshooting, and monitoring.
• Experience developing software in at least three different programming languages.
• Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git.

Nice to have

• Direct experience contributing to or using a design system.
• Track record of successful collaboration with designers and engineers to create accessible and user-centric solutions.
• Knowledge of iOS app design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM, MVP) and the ability to articulate their trade-offs.
• Experience implementing sophisticated UI interactions, animations, and transitions on iOS.
• Experience writing unit tests, creating testable code, and debugging issues using monitoring tools.
