TL;DR

Lead Frontend Software Engineer (React): Developing a new website page for a Sportsbook platform with an accent on state management, CSS-in-JS implementation, and integrating RESTful APIs and WebSockets. Focus on building scalable UI components, ensuring high performance through TDD, and providing technical leadership and coaching to team members.

Location: Must be based in Poland, Romania, Moldova, or LATAM

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain new frontend features for a Sportsbook platform.
  • Interpret complex requirements and identify optimal technical solutions.
  • Implement state management patterns and event-driven architectures.
  • Utilize CSS-in-JS solutions, specifically Emotion, for styling components.
  • Collaborate on backend interactions and ensure high-quality code through TDD practices.
  • Mentor and coach co-workers to drive technical growth within the team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience of over 5 years in React development.
  • Strong proficiency in state management patterns and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience with CSS-in-JS solutions, specifically Emotion.
  • English proficiency required for written and spoken communication.
  • Must reside in Poland, Romania, Moldova, or LATAM.

Nice to have

  • Experience with TypeScript and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge of WebSocket communication for client-server interaction.
  • Familiarity with Node.js and Express.
  • Experience with TDD and tools like Vite/Vitest.
