What you will do

• Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures for software products.
• Design and implement automated and manual test strategies for embedded firmware and hardware interfaces.
• Develop automated test scripts in Python, C/C++, or C# for regression, performance, functional, and integration testing.
• Automate testing of various communication protocols, including RS485, SPI, I2C, Modbus, Ethernet, and OPC UA.
• Execute test cases, document results, and utilize debugging tools to find and analyze software defects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and contribute to test automation process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in embedded system testing with emphasis on automation.
• Strong programming/scripting experience (C/C++, C#, Python).
• Strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and RTOS environments.
• Experience in industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA/DA, and TCP/IP.
• Experience with Agile development tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
