TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Helsinki, Finland with relocation support to Finland

hirify.global is a rapidly growing startup headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, focused on developing intelligent, interconnected satellite platforms with a software-first architecture to advance space communications.

What you will do

  • Lead system design, integration, and validation of space and ground systems ensuring component harmony.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine technical and non-technical requirements including CONOPS/OPSCON and use case development.
  • Perform feasibility studies and support business development bids with technical documentation.
  • Plan and execute integration, verification, and validation test activities.
  • Interface with software engineers, technical managers, and product assurance teams.

Requirements

  • Must have at least 6 years of systems engineering experience in the satellite industry including simulation infrastructure and system modelling.
  • Familiarity with NASA and ECSS systems engineering standards and ability to apply them in design and validation.
  • Experience with full project lifecycle from requirements to AIT, launch, and operation phases.
  • Strong communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform integration, verification, and validation testing in complex systems.
  • Location: Must be onsite in Helsinki, Finland or willing to relocate.

  • Experience with geo-stationary communication satellite projects.
