What you will do

• Oversee setup, configuration, and operation of ground stations including antenna and RF systems.
• Manage mission control software and automation tools for telemetry, tracking, and command.
• Design and monitor secure data flows ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Develop and execute operational readiness tests and validation activities.
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting for ground segment anomalies.
• Coordinate with third-party ground network providers and manage SLAs.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Helsinki, Finland.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• University degree in relevant engineering discipline.
• Proven experience in ground segment engineering for satellite missions.
• Hands-on experience with ground station hardware, RF systems, and mission control software.
• Experience with virtualized and cloud-based ground segment environments.

Nice to have

• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with telecommand validation, key management, and risk assessments.
