What you will do

• Design and implement scalable Java applications for E-Trading systems in Equities, Rates and Credit, FX, and Equity Derivatives.
• Collaborate with trading and operations teams to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Stay updated with latest Java technologies and trends in algorithmic trading platforms.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal.
• Strong experience in Java, Sybase, SQL Server, CI/CD, TDD, DevOps concepts, Git, XL Release, and XL Deploy.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in distributed and international teams.
• Good level of English (B2).
• Autonomy, organization, and proactive attitude.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of French is highly valued but not mandatory.
