What you will do
- Run behavioral channel simulation and analysis for high-speed wireline analog/DSP SERDES for 100G+ PAM4 standards.
- Model complex analog blocks such as Transmitter, FFE, CTLE, DFE, and CDRs.
- Contribute to Architecture definition for SERDES links across various standards.
- Develop and deploy tools to accelerate design and debug processes for analog/validation teams.
- Work with state-of-the-art optimization and machine learning algorithms for chip optimization.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and regression simulations, collaborating with internal silicon engineering.
Requirements
- Masters/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Engineering Science.
- 5+ years of experience in SERDES modeling.
- Previous experience with modeling critical SERDES blocks (Transmitter, FFE, CTLE, DFE, CDRs).
- Strong programming skills in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, Tcl, Perl.
- Experience working with PCIe and/or Ethernet SerDes specifications.
- English: B2 required.
Nice to have
- IBIS-AMI modelling experience.
- Familiarity with PCI-SIG, IEEE 802.3 and OIF standards.
