What you will do

• Set up, maintain, and optimize databases, data warehouses, and ElasticSearch indexes
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and storing data
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards
• Automate ETL processes and optimize database performance
• Collaborate with data analysts to provide well-structured and accurate data for reporting

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering or related fields
• Strong knowledge of ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and Postgres DBA including replication
• Experience managing Elasticsearch clusters and Kibana dashboards
• Proficiency in English with strong communication skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the European Union without visa sponsorship or additional work permits
• On-site presence required in Estepona, Spain

Nice to have

• Experience with Perl 5
• Knowledge of Java and Apache POI for handling structured data
