Azure Engineer

TL;DR

Azure Engineer: Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Cloud Solutions based on the Azure platform with an accent on scripting (ARM/Bicep Templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell). Focus on optimizing Azure deployments to meet performance and scalability requirements, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing Azure environments to ensure reliability and security.

Location: Work from the Alkmaar office, with the option to work from home one day per week.

hirify.global is seeking an Azure Engineer to strengthen their team and participate in large (cloud) migrations of international customers.

What you will do

• Design and implement Azure cloud solutions for customers.
• Set up and manage hosting environments based on scripting (ARM/Bicep Templates, Azure CLI, and PowerShell).
• Build and configure Azure services, such as virtual machines, storage, networking, security, databases, and applications.
• Set up and manage build & release pipelines to support colleagues in the automation and integration of CI/CD pipelines.
• Optimize Azure deployments to meet performance and scalability requirements.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize Azure environments to ensure reliability and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
• At least three years of experience with Azure cloud solutions and services.
• Knowledge of cloud security, networking, and storage.
• Experience with automation and scripting in Azure, such as PowerShell and ARM/Bicep templates.
• Experience with DevOps methodologies and tools.
• Participating in 24/7 on-call services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English (Dutch is a big plus).
