Position: Payment Optimization Analyst
We’re looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Payment Optimization Analyst to join our payments team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for live environment testing, fraud detection, terminal configuration, and operational optimization across multiple PSPs and APMs.
✨ Requirements:
✔️ 2+ years in Payments, Fintech (processing, PSPs, or risk analysis);
✔️ Strong understanding of card processing (Visa / Mastercard) and alternative payments (APMs, Open Banking, Wallets);
✔️ Solid grasp of payment routing, MID management, and cascading logic;
✔️ Experience with fraud monitoring systems, decline analytics, and reconciliation flows;
✔️ Comfortable working with PSP dashboards, API responses, and data logs;
✔️ Analytical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and ownership attitude;
✔️ Strong communication skills (English / Russian C1+) and confidence in provider negotiations;
✔️ Familiarity with tools like Excel / BI dashboards / PSP back-offices / Slack / Asana.
✨ Nice to Have:
✔️ SQL for payment data analytics;
✔️ Experience with error-mapping automation or fraud pattern modeling;
✔️ Previous background in risk or fraud operations.
✨ Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Test payment methods in production (Live MIDs, PSP dashboards);
✔️ Verify functionality, data accuracy, and integration stability;
✔️ Maintain and optimize payment terminals and connectors;
✔️ Monitor transactions for fraud, anomalies, and PSP issues;
✔️ Manage error-code mapping and automate classification;
✔️ Perform end-to-end testing of new PSPs and payment methods;
✔️ Communicate with PSPs to resolve incidents and improve performance.
