What you will do

• Lead and contribute to research projects on software development methodologies and tools.
• Improve software development practices including AI/ML solutions for product and research tool development.
• Select or develop custom software engineering tools tailored to company needs.
• Collaborate with global researchers, engineers, and external partners including universities and startups.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state-of-the-art software development methods and disseminate results through publications and patents.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Krakow, Poland
• PhD in software engineering or related field.
• Deep familiarity with modern software development methodologies and multiple programming languages.
• Experience in software engineering research, design of experiments, and statistical analysis.
• Some software development experience in product environments.
• Beneficial: experience with formal methods and AI/generative AI for software engineering.
