What you will do

• Implement, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases across multiple lifecycle environments.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions including clustering and Always On.
• Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems and handle client migrations.
• Configure monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms and plan capacity.
• Mentor peers and document solutions for operational teams.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Chandigarh or Mohali, India
• 5+ years of experience in MS SQL Server administration (2008 R2 to 2019).
• Experience with Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016, and 2019.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, backups, restores, and security administration.
• Experience with clustering, Always On, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with SSIS/SSRS, AWS or Azure cloud platforms.
• Automation skills using PowerShell.
• Familiarity with tools like ServiceNow, Redgate, Splunk, and Commvault backup.
