What you will do

• Collaborate within an Agile team to deliver quality backend software at scale and pace.
• Analyze requirements and user stories to identify gaps and improve test coverage.
• Create and specify testing strategies and automated test cases for new features and architectural changes.
• Support developers in test implementation and integration with existing components.
• Conduct exploratory testing and assist in release management within a CI/CD environment.
• Analyze incidents and report bugs with appropriate prioritization and severity.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal
• Minimum 3 years experience in quality assurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with API testing (REST, RPC, SOAP).
• Proficient in English and Portuguese communication.
• BSc or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge.

Nice to have

• Experience working in Agile Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GoCD.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to automate tests in Java, C#, or similar languages.
• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
