What you will do

• Lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team of developers and QA to deliver software projects.
• Support team members' career development and performance appraisals.
• Manage hiring and delivery responsibilities for the team.
• Act as liaison between delivery team and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other Engineering Managers to align initiatives and priorities.
• Track, analyze, and support team efficiency and quality improvements using Scrum.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal
• Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary software teams delivering complex projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Experience in career development and fostering collaborative team culture.
• Knowledge of distributed, redundant, and transactional systems and quality assurance.
• Proven incident management and defect tracking experience.
