What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable platform features and infrastructure.
• Build reusable self-service components to improve developer productivity.
• Write maintainable code applying infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to meet business and technical needs.
• Participate in design and architecture discussions to ensure platform scalability and maintainability.
• Support incident response and drive platform reliability improvements.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in automation and observability.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Porto, Portugal for onsite work.
• Significant hands-on experience in platform engineering, SRE, infrastructure, or DevOps roles.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and containerization.
• Strong background in system design, distributed systems, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with CI/CD principles, pipeline design, and operational best practices.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, Vault, GitHub Actions, Datadog, and PagerDuty.
