hirify.global is seeking a Financial Data Business Analyst to join its Global Data Team, focusing on BI Reporting solutions for the entire organization.

What you will do

• Collect, analyze, and document requirements from various finance/controlling departments (P&L, COGS, Balance sheet, Cash flow, quantity of goods).
• Translate business and process requirements into technically detailed, system-based concepts (BSS) for implementation.
• Set up efficient testing concepts and processes, conduct testing initiatives, and ensure quality assurance.
• Define work packages and project plans, follow up on milestone achievement, and manage project deadlines.
• Provide 2nd level support for newly developed solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years working experience in Business Intelligence area with project involvement (e.g., Controller, IT Consultant, Business Analyst).
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Informatics, or IT.
• Profound knowledge of systems and reporting tools such as SAP, SAP BW, SAP BI-IP Planning, S4/HANA, Hyperion Financial Management, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills, along with experience in project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Workfront.
• Solid controlling/accounting background and understanding of financial processes.
• Excellent command of English.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of German.
