What you will do

• Own backend features and services from development through deployment and support
• Develop APIs and services using Python and Django
• Build message-driven systems with Kafka
• Write clean, reliable code with unit and integration tests
• Collaborate on scalable solutions, code reviews, and delivery deadlines
• Assist with containerized deployments, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, on-call rotations, and production support

Requirements

• 3+ years professional Python backend development experience
• Solid Django and asynchronous Python (asyncio) experience
• Production exposure to Apache Kafka or similar message brokers
• Docker containerization experience
• Cloud platforms familiarity (AWS or others)
• Good PostgreSQL or relational databases knowledge
• Automated testing experience
• CI/CD workflows and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)
• Good English communication skills
• Agile teams, code reviews, on-call willingness

Nice to have

• Kubernetes experience
• Frontend technologies (React)
• Event sourcing and CQRS
• Big data frameworks like Flink
