Senior Android Developer (Kotlin): Building and maintaining mobile applications for hirify.global and DiscoverEU with an accent on native development, architectural patterns, and user experience for travel planning. Location: Hybrid role based in Utrecht, Netherlands. Must be able to work from the office on a regular basis.

Salary: €5,500 – €7,000 gross monthly.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain native Android applications for hirify.global and DiscoverEU.
• Ensure high standards of code quality and assist in addressing complex technical issues.
• Act as a bridge between developers, QA, architects, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and designers to define and implement user stories.
• Contribute to mobile architectural decisions and technical planning.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in native Android development with successful Play Store releases.
• Proficiency in Kotlin, XML Layouts, and Jetpack Compose.
• Strong grasp of architectural patterns like MVVM and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with unit testing, UI testing, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with REST and GraphQL APIs and cloud infrastructure integration.
• English language proficiency is required for business communication.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Material Design guidelines.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Fastlane.
• Understanding of Android Coroutines and Flows.
