TL;DR

Solution Engineer (Telecom): Designing and developing platform solutions for mobile, fixed, and cloud networks with an accent on Nokia Mediation product configuration, coding, and system integration. Focus on optimizing performance, ensuring system reliability, and working with cloud-native network functions (CNF) and container technologies.

Location: Remote (Ukraine). Candidates are expected to be located in Ukraine and have appropriate work permits.

What you will do

• Develop and test high-quality workflows, nodes, and streams for mediation products.
• Work with Nokia Mediation or other mediation systems, including installation and troubleshooting.
• Design and develop Cloud-Native Network Functions (CNF) solutions.
• Apply software engineering skills across various platforms (VNF, BM, CNF).
• Ensure quality and deliver functional tests for developed solutions.
• Contribute to innovation in mobile, fixed, and cloud networks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Communications, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with Nokia Mediation or similar mediation products.
• Working knowledge of Nokia Mediation (or other) product systems, with ability to independently code and test.
• Good understanding of telecom domain concepts.
• Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, PostgreSQL, and Unix.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Perl, Java, and XML.
• Scripting knowledge in Shell, Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal).

Nice to have

• Experience with Nokia Mediation product fComptel’s EventLink 7.x+ or Nokia Data Refinery 19.x+.
• Experience with Nokia Mediation installation, migration, and troubleshooting.
• Working experience in Business Logic Tool (BLT) and TimesTen.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker containers.
