What you will do

• Define and develop test automation to improve efficiency and coverage
• Write manual and automated test procedures for embedded industrial devices
• Collaborate with firmware, electrical, and mechanical teams in an Agile environment
• Log, track, and investigate defects to determine root causes
• Monitor, debug, and enhance automated test infrastructure
• Champion quality work products within the test team

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar experience
• 7+ years of embedded development and/or embedded test development experience
• Expertise in C# and working knowledge of C/C++
• Knowledge of software test methodologies and automation principles
• Basic understanding of electrical schematics, circuit analysis, and mechanical/electronic systems

Nice to have

• Experience with control systems and process control environments
• Familiarity with distributed version control (Git, Mercurial)
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools (TeamCity, Jenkins)
• Experience with ARM embedded processor platforms
• Knowledge of industrial protocols and test equipment
