What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers working on Earth Observation data.
• Oversee development of scalable models for image classification, segmentation, and feature extraction.
• Drive innovation in thermal and multispectral data fusion using deep learning.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deploy models in production.
• Define and promote MLOps best practices including model versioning and monitoring.
• Support research, proposals, and external collaborations.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid in Luxembourg or relocate with visa sponsorship
• Master’s degree in computer science, machine learning, physics, mathematics, or related field.
• 10+ years experience in data science, machine learning, or computer vision with 2+ years in leadership.
• Expertise in deep learning (CNNs, transformers, self-supervised learning) and MLOps.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent English communication skills.

• PhD in relevant fields.
