What you will do

• Work on external defense team to identify and respond to security incidents.
• Coordinate with incident response staff, threat intelligence, and SOC teams.
• Conduct security investigations and lead incident response efforts.
• Monitor and analyze web logs, NetFlow, and packet data.
• Manage security configurations for cloud solutions and web application firewalls.
• Interact with technical and non-technical staff to articulate security issues.

Requirements

• Experience: 5 to 7 years in cybersecurity, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant certifications (CISSP, GIAC).
• Skills: Strong knowledge of perimeter and cloud security, incident response, and log analysis.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with SIEM tools like Splunk and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
