What you will do
- Lead full project lifecycle for complex incentive compensation and accounting/reporting implementations.
- Architect and maintain scalable, high-quality calculation models ensuring efficiency and repeatability.
- Serve as technical and accounting SME, guiding internal teams and partners on best practices and compliance.
- Translate unique customer compensation and accounting requirements into system configurations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
- Develop best practices, templates, and standards to improve modeling and delivery quality.
Requirements
- Must reside near Austin, TX (hybrid) or be remote in Raleigh, NC; Nashville, TN; or Toronto, Canada
- 6+ years experience including 4+ years in incentive compensation management modeling and delivery.
- Strong accounting or finance background with knowledge of ASC 340, ASC 606, IFRS 15.
- Proven customer-facing consulting experience across all project phases.
- Expert Excel modeling skills and familiarity with SaaS cloud software implementation.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Nice to have
- CPA license.
- Experience with hirify.global or similar SPM platforms.
- Proficiency with CRM/ERP/subscription platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, Zuora.
- Familiarity with SQL and Python for data preparation and analysis.
- Background in financial operations, system implementation, or technology consulting.
