What you will do

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Python and Django focused on financial products
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs for customer-facing applications and internal tools
• Implement robust data models and database schemas
• Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and security

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work remotely from Europe including Romania, Poland, Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, or Czech Republic
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years professional backend development experience with Python
• Strong proficiency in Django or similar Python API frameworks
• Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks
• Knowledge of API design principles, microservices architecture, and AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Experience with version control (Git) and testing frameworks
• Understanding of security best practices and data protection
