What you will do

• Develop new capabilities for the Global Data Platform powering Delivery Hero's ecosystem.
• Work with cloud solutions to ensure scalability, availability, and security of the data platform.
• Handle large-scale data processing challenges and optimize platform performance.
• Own end-to-end team goals and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Drive and participate in technical decisions within the team.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid role based in Barcelona, Spain
• 3+ years of relevant full-time experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Kotlin, or similar high-level languages.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and relational databases.
• Strong English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience managing distributed services and microservices platforms.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, and event streaming technologies.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh, Datalake Catalogs, BigQuery, and Notebooks.
