What you will do
- Design and implement core features of Apache Ozone and Apache Ratis.
- Contribute code and design documents to the Apache open-source community.
- Support enterprise customers with large-scale big data analytics and ML/AI pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's +6, Master's 4-6 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong backend engineering skills in Java or C++.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems design.
- Solid experience in system software design and development.
- Strong programming skills with data structures and algorithms.
Nice to have
- Background in distributed storage systems.
- Experience in performance tuning and optimizations.
- Understanding of the Apache Big Data ecosystem.
- Contributions to open source projects.
