Software Engineer, Infrastructure (AI)

TL;DR

Fullstack Engineer, Core Services (Go/Python/React): Designing, building, and optimizing core systems and management platforms for an AI Hub with an accent on secure infrastructure, high-performance backend services, and scalable frontend interfaces. Focus on improving developer velocity, reliability, and observability, while leading technical initiatives and taking end-to-end product ownership.

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, CA. Must be based in the US and have US work authorization.

Salary: $190,000 to $205,000 + bonus, equity and US benefits.

What you will do

• Architect secure infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker) and backend services (Go, Python, PostgresDB).
• Build frontend interfaces (React, TypeScript) to support platform features.
• Create internal platforms and dashboards to improve developer velocity, reliability, and observability.
• Act as a technical leader who mentors junior engineers and contributes to the infrastructure codebase.
• Take end-to-end product ownership, including writing Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong foundation in CS fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and PostgresDB.
• Comfortable functioning as a Product Manager and Designer, writing technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have US work authorization.

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native for mobile or cross-platform applications.
• Prior experience in a startup environment handling multi-functional responsibilities (Dev, PM, and Design).
