Salary: $74,000 – $93,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.

What you will do

• Craft clear, on-brand copy that translates complex technical platform features into simple, engaging user prose.
• Develop and innovate release communication strategies to ensure clients understand the value of new product updates.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Marketing teams to align messaging with company vision and roadmap goals.
• Independently develop and publish release notes to maintain consistent communication across sprint cycles.
• Track engagement metrics and user feedback to continuously improve content effectiveness and adoption.
• Leverage AI tools like Gemini and Hemingway to scale content development and streamline editorial workflows.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in Canada is required (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Must be based in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or Ontario.
• 2-3 years of professional writing experience in a B2B or B2C environment or creative agency.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills in American English with attention to editorial style guides.
• Proficiency or familiarity with tools such as Figma, Zendesk, Confluence, Jira, and Google Analytics.
• A performance-oriented mindset focused on driving engagement through clear communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with in-app messaging tools like Appcues.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic approaches to short, succinct narrative-driven copy.
