Senior Engineer, Backend (Fintech)

What you will do

• Contribute to the event-driven Microservice Architecture, defining and maintaining services.
• Build services using Java 17, Spring Boot, and JOOQ.
• Expose and consume RESTful APIs with good API design.
• Utilize SNS+SQS and Kafka to send events.
• Use PostgreSQL via Aurora as the primary datastore.
• Deploy services to Production frequently via CI/CD pipelines powered by GitHub Actions.

Requirements

• Experience building server-side applications with knowledge of relevant programming languages.
• Sound knowledge of a backend framework (e.g., Spring/Spring Boot) for writing microservices that expose and consume RESTful APIs.
• Experience engineering scalable and reliable solutions in a cloud-native environment.
• A mindset of delivering secure, well-tested, and well-documented software that integrates with various third-party providers and partners.
• Willing to relocate to Bulgaria if your current living country is not Bulgaria.
