Senior Software Engineer C++/C#/Python

Location: Eindhoven, Netherlands; hybrid work from the Eindhoven office with occasional client-site visits and willingness to travel abroad required.

What you will do

• Develop technical system control software for modules and complete high-tech systems.
• Support customers in creating and integrating software for semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment.
• Work across the full software development cycle, including state machine modelling and real-time aspects.
• Take ownership of assignments and translate new technologies, tools, and methodologies into effective business solutions.
• Coach and mentor colleagues and contribute to their professional growth.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of software development experience in high-tech industries such as semiconductor, analytical, or medical equipment.
• Experience building OS-based system control software using modern C++ and model-driven practices in an Agile or SAFe environment.
• Strong expertise in modern C++ and C#, plus experience with languages such as Python across different operating systems.
• Experience with state-machine, real-time, and/or high-performance software aspects.
• Good experience working with legacy code, adding features, and performing refactoring.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, ICT, or related education.
• Open to flexible working times, willing to travel abroad, and holding a valid European driving license.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access technology controlled under the US Export Administration Regulations before starting work.
