TL;DR
Data Engineer II (Python/AWS): Building and transforming data pipelines, warehouses, and feature workflows for marketplace reporting, website features, and predictive models with an accent on data reliability, scalable analytics, and production machine learning. Focus on designing distributed data systems, productionising model training and scoring workflows, and integrating Amazon Bedrock into AI use cases.
Location: Remote in Ireland; Dublin office available for flexible working

What you will do
- Develop data pipelines and transformations supporting data production and consumption across the organisation.
- Ensure data is trusted, timely, and appropriate for consumers, colleagues, partners, reporting, and insights.
- Drive data modelling to simplify raw data into consumable datasets.
- Build and maintain feature pipelines and training/scoring workflows for predictive models in production.
- Maintain the data platform and collaborate with application development teams to deliver website data features.
- Use modern AI tooling such as Amazon Bedrock for marketplace and internal self-service data use cases.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of proven data engineering experience, including some exposure to machine learning in production.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, including DDL and DML, and Python.
- Experience with relational databases such as Redshift, Postgres, and MySQL.
- Experience with large-scale data warehousing and analytics projects built on highly available, distributed systems.
- Collaborative spirit and growth mindset.
Nice to have
- Experience building or productionising machine learning workflows in Python, including scikit-learn or XGBoost, and evaluating model performance.
- Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS services such as Redshift, Lambda, Athena, S3, Kinesis, Glue, Bedrock, and SageMaker.
- Experience with ML platforms and MLOps tooling, including feature stores and model monitoring.
