Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Europe, subject to country eligibility

What you will do

• Build a reusable Python ingestion framework to accelerate customer integrations and replace legacy Java ETL.
• Develop reliable real-time streaming and change data capture pipelines between PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Use LLMs to map customer schemas and reduce manual integration work.
• Own production pipelines across deployment, monitoring, data quality, recovery, and secure customer-data handling.
• Shape data and AI platform infrastructure, improve existing code, and make pragmatic architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of data engineering experience, including strong Python and SQL skills and ownership of production pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS, and Airflow or a similar orchestrator.
• Experience building streaming and change data capture pipelines.
• Understanding of keeping sensitive data accurate, secure, and available.
• Ability to turn complex or messy problems into working systems, take ownership across code and infrastructure, and make pragmatic decisions as requirements evolve.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt and DuckDB.
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform.
• Familiarity with cross-warehouse data sharing or LLM-assisted data integration.
