Technology Delivery Lead (AI)

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Hybrid work with colleagues expected to be in the local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week; office-based teams have at least one weekly anchor day.

What you will do

• Define product vision, strategy, success metrics, and multi-quarter roadmaps for enterprise AI initiatives.
• Translate business needs and organizational goals into deliverable AI capabilities and measurable outcomes.
• Provide technical leadership across model development, data pipelines, APIs, cloud platforms, data architecture, and AI infrastructure.
• Drive responsible AI practices covering traceability, bias and fairness, privacy, governance, and product quality.
• Lead rapid AI proofs of concept, including problem framing, data-readiness assessment, evaluation, and recommendations.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery, manage risks and dependencies, review vendor deliverables, and present outcomes to senior and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience as a Technology Product Manager or Technology Delivery Lead, including at least 2 years working on AI, ML, or data-intensive products.
• Ability to define and execute product strategy in complex, fast-moving, cross-functional technology environments.
• Strong technical foundation in APIs, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, data architecture, and system design.
• Experience working directly with architects and engineers in an agile product environment.
• Track record of delivering enterprise-grade software products from concept through launch and iteration.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across organizational levels.

Nice to have

• Experience in portfolio delivery or a program management office within a large organization.
• Familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, NLP, or computer vision product development.
• Background in software engineering, data science, or systems architecture.
• Experience with enterprise AI governance, model risk management, or responsible AI frameworks.
• MBA or an advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Azure ML, or equivalent.
